Inferior Cerebellar Peduncle – icp

Protocol PDF Document (version 1.2): icpicp1

Instructions:

  1. Create two separate axial seed regions (at approx. axial slice 33), one on each side

icp2

  1. Create two separate axial ROI regions (at approx. axial slice 44), one on each side.

icp3

  1. Create one ROA region on a sagittal slice at the midline
  1. In the region list, check the left seed/ROI regions and ROA region, then run fiber tracking. Based on this output, ROA placement will be clearer.
  1. Using the ROA file, create one more ROA region on a coronal slice anterior to the seed regions.
  1. In the region list, check only the left seed/ROI region and ROA regions, then perform fiber tracking. Under the tract list, make sure only the desired left tract is checked and highlighted in purple. Save region, tract, and density files.
  1. Uncheck the left seed/ROI region and check the right seed/ROI region and ROA region, then perform fiber tracking. Make sure only the desired right tract is checked and highlighted in purple. Save region, tract, and density files.

  1. Kurt says:

Which axial locations are seed/ROIs? I don’t like giving slice #

  2. Kurt says:

Where should ROA be? “anterior” is pretty vague and streamlines extremely dependent on location. Just anterior to cerebellum, anterior to entire mid-brain, anterior to some cortical landmark?
